SiliCycle, a Canadian company that specializes in the manufacturing and commercialization of specialty chemicals is looking for a talented Sales Representative to accelerate its development in Germany. CDI full time.

As part of the business strategy of the company, the employee will implement trade policies with industrial companies to maximize business development.

 

Tasks Description

Sales development and commercial follow-up

  • Provide high level customer follow-up and service to foster customer loyalty
  • Uncover and propose solutions to customer demands, prepare the commercial offers and negotiate T/C to close sales
  • Interact with distributors
  • Achieve sales targets for the territory
  • Available and willing to travel (50-80%)

Definition and identification of commercial targets

  • Define target business areas to develop commercially and geographically in line with company development strategy
  • Provide business intelligence on competitive landscape and identify strengths and weaknesses in the product lines

Commercial prospection

  • Identify potential targets and decision processes in target companies
  • Discover and win new customers ("hunting") through visits or by remote work

Customer relationship management and reporting

  • Provide business survey (products, trends, competition)
  • Analyze the competitive market and leverage sales statistics to increase sales

Other activities

  • Organize seminars that are adapted to customers while promoting the advantages of the products and services offered by the company
  • Attend seminars (meetings) and conferences selected by the company
  • Manage orders: create new accounts, monitor progress and reclamations
  • Contribute to projects: feed and maintain the customer data base, develop and optimize operational marketing tools, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in organic chemistry
  • Five years minimum experience in a similar position
  • Proven strong selling technique, negotiation technique and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of products, industry practices especially in pharmaceuticals and of competitors
  • Good knowledge in operational marketing
  • Facility to use internet and CRM/office software
  • Native language German
  • Fluent in written and oral English
  • Ideally possess basic skills in French
