SiliCycle is pleased to invite you to join the 22nd Canadian Symposium on Catalysis
May 13-16, 2012, Quebec City, CANADA (www.22csc.ca)
The Canadian Symposium on Catalysis is held every two years and it is the traditional meeting place for the Canadian catalysis community. The theme for this year is “Catalysis, a Science of Multiple Applications”. In other words, this year symposium will focus attention on the unifying aspects of the science in spite of the diversity of its applications. Some of the major sub-themes such as clean utilization of fossil fuels or electrocatalysis have special significance in Canada but others such as green chemistry and biofuels, environmental catalysis or catalysis for pharmaceutical industries meet current worldwide concerns. The 22nd CSC will therefore be of interest to catalysis researchers in Canada as well as abroad which would warrant a broad exchange of ideas and opinions in this ever renewed field.
Major Themes
- Catalysis for Fossil Fuels Utilization
- Catalysis for Biomass-derived Chemicals and Fuels
- Environmental Catalysis - Electro-catalysis and Fuel Cells
- Green Catalysis and Pharmaceutical Synthesis
