SiliCycle Inc., the fine chemical manufacturer having its headquarters in the Quebec Metro High Tech Parc, known as a worldwide leader in the development, the manufacturing, and the commercialization of high value silica-based and specialty products for chromatography, analytical, and organic chemistry, announces the acquisition of Chromatography Sciences Company (CSC) Inc., from Ville Saint-Laurent, in the greater Montreal area.
Founded in 1980, CSC is a Canadian pioneer in the manufacturing of HPLC columns and the marketing of other analytical products for the market of research laboratories in North America. With this acquisition, all manufacturing operations, equipments, and know-how of CSC are transferred to SiliCycle state of the art facility, in Quebec City. The key personnel of CSC, including its President, Mr. Denis Boudriau, will also join the SiliCycle team.
"This is a golden opportunity for SiliCycle to bring on board Mr. Boudriau who has a rare experience of 27 years in Analytical Chromatography," said Mr. Hugo St-Laurent, President of SiliCycle. "In addition, it consolidates our position in the Analytical business segment in North America, and it strengthens our manufacturing capacities of HPLC columns for the Global Market."
