We have the largest portfolio of grafted scavengers on the market and the largest spectrum of functionalities.

All SiliaMetS / SiliaBond Scavengers can be used in a pH range of 2 to 12 and most of them can withstand temperatures up to 150°C.

Standard scavengers are grafted on 40 - 63 µm, 60 Å silica gel.

All functionalities are also available on any other of our bare silica gels, with various particle and pore diameters.

It is an effective scavenger for metals in low or zero oxidation states, which includes many of the most synthetically useful catalysts such as tetrakis-(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0).

    SiliaMetS TAAcONa or (or SiliaMetS Triaminetetraacetate, sodium salt) is a silica bound metal scavenger for Pd(II), Ni(II) and Cu. It is the supported version of EDTA in its sodium salt form. It is an effective scavenger for metals in higher oxidation state, 2+ or higher.
