Can I leave probiotics out of the fridge?

Generally, probiotics can be stored in the fridge. However, some probiotics are stable at room temperature.

During a trip, it is possible to keep the probiotic capsules out of the fridge for a few weeks. The products only lose about 10% of their efficiency each month which is negligible compared to the benefits they bring during a trip.
