When should I take probiotics?

> back to Probiotics FAQ

Probiotics have an important role in preventing diarrhea during antibiotic treatment or travel.
In both cases, start taking the probiotics one to five days before antibiotic treatment or a trip and continue for 2 weeks after the end. Spend about 2 hours taking antibiotics and probiotics.

Probiotics can also be used to prevent infections acquired during care in a health facility. Regular consumption of probiotics can reduce the symptoms of certain intestinal diseases by keeping the intestinal flora diversified and well balanced.
It is recommended to consume the probiotics about half an hour before the meal or two hours after.
