SiliaPlate Analytical plates are the scientist’s optimal choice for universal, quick, inexpensive, versatile and classical separations. Various layers are available in order to directly target various organic functionalities for optimal results.

Plastic-backings display similar advantages as aluminium-backings:

  • Thinner support than glass (≈ 0.15 mm vs 1 mm),
  • Low fragility,
  • Possible scissor cutting into desired dimensions
  • Notebook-storable.

They have a limited heat resistance compared to aluminium sheets (below 175°C), yet a stronger chemical resistance.
